Health insurance carrier was discussed. Many questions need to be addressed. BOF is working on answers. They will report to council.

Extensive time was spent on budget for next year. Prelimary numbers will be put together at board meetings this month. Council will discuss these numbers at the March meeting. Undoubtedly, it will take more than one meeting. All boards have some intense decisions to make. Pray for your brothers. A summary of the current financial picture will be placed in your mailboxes. Council is preparing a mailing to communicate congregational needs.

The Education Fee task force report was presented. A vote on recommendations will occur in the March Council meeting. A copy is posted on the bulletin board in the workroom.

Kevin Yager was appointed as vice-president of the congregation.

John Balge will serve as the representative to the Every Member Visit Task Force from BOCD. A listing of the task force members is posted also.

BOP has been working on school lighting throughout the school year. The conference room was done last night. The girls and boys locker rooms have motion sensors and turn on automatically. After 15 minutes of no motion, they shut off automatically. No more switches. The downstairs boys and girls restrooms are being wired the same way. The boys restroom is already complete.

Mrs. Dauer has worked hard on the verse in the Lecture Room. It looks nice. She has the rising and setting suns to paint yet. Please be sure to thank her as the opportunity arises.

When the ground thaws, the BOP still has to pull out an empty tank from ground. The tank is located behind the school building. Just a heads up on that project.

Bailey flew into Minneapolis today. She will stay at the Ronald McDonald House. We are thankful God has brought her back to Minnesota. Continue to pray for her health.

Teachers grades 4-8. I have placed an example of the items analysis report from Terra Nova in your mailboxes. This report would come one per class. Would this information better suit our needs as they pertain to mapping and curriculum development? Or over time, point to areas of strength or improvement in a more effective manner than current reports? We are able to back order these reports. Please give me some feedback before a decision is made. Next Friday March 3. You may reply to this posting or to my mailbox.

3M offers to sponsor a teacher to attend the Keystone Institute, which is held in Colorado over the summer months. Detail will appear on the bulletin board in the work room soon.
