School Project Online Survey

Tuesday, April 22

Presently Mark Davy and Associates are conducting a feasibility study to gauge member awareness and interest in our proposed school improvement project. If you did not have opportunity to participate in the face-to-face interviews or mail survey phases of this study, you are encouraged to do so using the online survey.  To participate go to www.markdavyassoc.com/splsnu and complete the survey ASAP. The survey will conclude in early May.  St. John's members are welcome to participate.

Potluck Open Forum

Tuesday, April 22

On Sunday, April 27th, at noon, the men of the Church Council will serve a potluck lunch, followed soon after by an open forum primarily focused on the budget for the upcoming year. Other items of general interest will be discussed as time allows.

Please bring a dish to pass for the potluck, and prepare to share your thoughts with our leaders as to how we can best use the gifts and opportunities God has given us in the next fiscal year.

Join us for Easter Worship and Breakfast!

On Easter Sunday we join to worship our risen Savior as we celebrate his victory over sin, death, and the devil! We invite you to join us for Easter Festival worship at 7:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM. At 8:00 AM we will serve a hot breakfast in the Fellowship Hall, and all are welcome.

Confirmation April 13

This year's Confirmation Students will be Confirmed in the 9:30 AM worship service on April 13th. We welcome friends and family of these young people to join in worshiping with them as they publicly declare their faith and commitment to their Savior. Please be advised that the worship space fills quickly for this service. 

Sunday Bible Study

For the next three weeks (January 19-February 2), Pastor Ross Stelljes will lead a Bible Study called Unveiling Grace, the story of a group of Christians who were led out of Mormonism and into Christianity through their study of the Bible. 

Coming soon: a look at Ephesians 5 and Marriage (February 9th).

This Sunday, January 12th, Wolf Parsons (an MLC pastoral student) and Norma Schmidt present to us about their experience knocking on doors and witnessing to Mormons this past summer in Salt Lake City, Utah. Join us at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall.

Streaming Service

Monday, December 23

We are developing the ability to stream our services, but we have not yet set a consistent pattern. Certain services will be streamed during the Christmas season, including the 2:30 PM Children's Christmas Eve Service and the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. Look for streamed services - and archived copies of previously streamed services - at under "Live Streams" under "Resources" up above, or by following this link. In the New Year we will try to set a consistent weekly streaming schedule.

Pastor Ross Stelljes of MLC continues a four-part series on the last book of the Old Testament, the Propeht Malachi. The series will focus on the six oracles of Malachi and the great promise of the coming Messiah, whom Malachi calls "The Sun of Righteousness." Please join us! (There will be no class on Sunday December 29th).
