About

St. Paul's School began in 1885 and is a prekindergarten through grade eight elementary school that is owned and operated by St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  The church, a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), has a long history of supporting full time Christian Education.

The school is also supported by St. John's Lutheran Church, of New Ulm.  St. John's supplies five of the staff.  It also pays the tuition for students of the congregation who attend.

St. Paul's Lutheran is staffed by fourteen teachers and Principal Michael Koestler. Four pastors and a staff minister also conduct catechism lessons with seventh and eighth grade students during school hours.
