Contagious Christian Part 2 - Contagious Hearts

Are you ready to let God use to reach out to people with the gospel?   I suspect that many are not.  Fear of failure, perceived lack of know-how, and/or lack of concern for the lost paralyze many when it comes to sharing Christ with others.

Jesus Loves All People Individually

If you have more than one pet, or more than one sibling, or more than one child…do you love them all? Of course you do. However, you probably love each of them differently.

I have two children that I love with all my heart. But I sometimes need to show that love in different ways. For my daughter, she needs me to show my love for her by making sure I give her a hug and kiss before bed every night. My son on the other hand, could care less about that. But he needs me to show my love for him by taking a few minutes here and there to toss a ball around or to rough house with him.

Praise to the Lord

Devotion 1 – For Election                 Ephesians 1:3-6

Praise God for our election!  (Read) Ephesians 1:3-6:

Praise God For It, Praise God With It

Imagine putting immense thought and effort into giving someone the perfect gift. And then, the person you give the gift to, doesn’t even say thank you. How would that make you feel?

Or imagine that you gave someone that perfect gift, they said thank you, but then they did something very disrespectful with that gift. For example, what if you gave someone expensive concert tickets and they sold them online? What if you gave someone a hand-sewn afghan, and they put it in the dog kennel? I’m sure you get the idea. How would that make you feel?

Live a Godly Life

Have you ever taken a flight where you have had a stop on the flight and had to catch a connecting flight in a far-away part of a big airport?   Sometimes it can be a sprint to catch that flight.

God's Word is Power

Unless you were born with an unreal sense of understanding, rain is probably something that you had to learn to appreciate. I mean you don’t hear a lot of young children saying, “Oh good, it’s raining today, we really needed that.” No, rather, if you ask a group of children what they think about rainy days, they’ll most likely respond, “They stink!” Why? No doubt they feel that way because on rainy days they can’t go outside and play. Yes, rain is something that we had to learn to appreciate.
