St. Paul's Lutheran Church of New Ulm, MN is looking to hire a qualified, spiritually-mature WELS/ELS member to serve as the Operations Manager of our church and school and serve on our ministry team. The position is full-time and has compensation commensurate with qualifications and WELS benefits. Responsibilities include diverse aspects of administration, but especially financial management, budgeting, account reporting, office operations, facilities, technology, human resources, and advisory capacities. About St. Paul's Lutheran Church & School
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, established in 1865, is a growing, varied, and vibrant confessional WELS ministry located in the Minnesota River Valley of south-central Minnesota. The congregation has 2147+ baptized and 1724+ communicant members after experiencing net growth of several hundred members in recent years. 10 full-time and part-time ministers and workers serve on the church-side of the ministry. St. Paul’s Lutheran School, providing Christ-centered quality education for children in preschool through 8th grade, has an enrollment of 360 children and is served by 30 full-time and part-time workers. The total annual budget is ~$3.2 million.
The congregation is blessed with good facilities, a number of properties, and a healthy Endowment Fund. We also have close connections with Martin Luther College and Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. The congregation has a prominent and respected place in our community.
New Ulm is a stable community of over 13,000 residents with an economy that is fueled by agribusiness, Kraft Foods, 3-M, New Ulm Medical Center, American Milk Producers, MLC, and many businesses and small manufacturers.
