Prayer Ministry

Let's Pray for One Another

This portion of our website gives God's people the opportunity to pray for one another, and to have others pray for them. If you would like to request that your fellow Christians pray for you, click the "Request Prayer" link below to be taken to a prayer request form. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of our prayer ministry and to receive prayer requests and pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ, complete the forms on this page.

God Commands and Invites Our Prayers.

Jesus taught, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). The apostle Paul taught that we are to "pray continuously" (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

God promises that when we pray, He will hear and answer us.

He promised this through the psalmist, who wrote (speaking for the Lord), "He will call upon me, and I will answer him" (Psalm 91:15), and taught us through Paul, "He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" (Romans 8:32). Jesus promised, "My Father will give you whatever you ask in my name" (John 16:24).

We are encouraged in the Scriptures to "Keep praying for all the saints" (Ephesians 6:18)

That is, God's people, made holy by the blood of Jesus. As long as we live in this world that is tainted by sin, we will face troubles and need strength from God. Yet, God also blesses us, and we are thankful for his presence in our lives. It is good when God's people pray for one another in times of trouble, and it is good when we join in thankfulness together for the blessings God gives.
