What We Believe

We Believe that God is One

...but also three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and inerrant Word, and therefore truth and the only sure guide to eternal life in heaven.

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man in one person – the Savior who lived a perfect life, died to pay for the sins of all, and rose again to assure us of forgiveness and eternal life.

We believe that the forgiveness of sins, the privilege of being God’s child, and eternal life are free gifts from God and ours through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion are means by which God gives us his grace, and that through them we receive forgiveness, life and salvation.

We believe that Jesus will return on the Last Day, and he will raise the dead and take all who believe in him into eternal life. Until then, those who have died in Christ stand in glory beside their Savior, and Christians here on Earth live to God's glory by the power of the Holy Spirit through repentance and obedience.
